From the Ashes to the Words

Poem by Rajesh Sharma

Baca juga: Timothee Bordenave 's Bilingual Poems Translated by Leni Marlina: "HUMBLE BE"

–

From the ashes of the thought wordsarise
From the silence of the heart my Poetry rise
I wrote in smoke what I couldn’t say
And watched the dark turn into day
I buried dreams where no one looked
Counted scars like books I’ve cooked
The world said “hush”, I learned to roar
In ink, in fire, forevermore
No crown was given, none was lent
I built my name on what I meant
If pain could burn, then let it burn
From loss I learn, from ash I turn
So read me when your night feels long
I’m proof that silence makes a song
A phoenix doesn’t beg for the sky
It writes them, and then learns to fly

Be Her Choice Not a Burden

Poem by Rajesh Sharma

–

Hold her hand, but let her wings fly
If she stays it is love it not it’s a goodbye
The love you beg, is a love that’s gone
The love that’s free has to be the one
She didn’t leave because she didn’t Love
Left because, you never did prove
Love is a dance, not a fight
Which has to stay everyday and night.
Don’t chase the heart that doesn’t align
Let go, and let love find its rhythm again
In silence, find your inner peace
And let her go, if that’s what she seeks
In love’s vast space, don’t be a plea
Be the calm wave, let her be the sea
If she returns, it’s a gift to cherish
If not, the love already did vanish.

The Page I Wanna Be

Poem by Rajesh Sharma

–

Tomorrow I may fade to just a name,
A quiet line you don’t claim.
An old page folded, out of view,
A story that was me and you.
But when the nights grow long and grey,
And loneliness begins to stay,
I hope my words come back to mind,
A page you search for, soft and kind.
Remember laughs that filled the air,
Those late-night talks, the way we’d care.
If thinking of them brings a smile,
Then loving you was all worthwhile.
Together or apart, it’s true,
Each moment spent was made of you.
So let me be the page you keep,
The one your heart returns to sleep.

The Phoenix Rising

Poem by Rajesh Sharma

–

I burned in silence,
Ash in places where I was light once.
They called it an end game,
I called it fuel for my name.
Every scar, a feather.
Every fall, a spark.
I searched and did gather
From the dark.
No more asking to be seen,
No more waiting to listen.
From the smoke I built my wings,
From the pain I found my words.
Watch me rise and shine
Not to prove, but to be shown .
Not the old me,
But the fire that set me free.
The phoenix doesn’t beg for skies,
Rather it makes the skies.

Bloom, Shine and Get Crowned

Poem by Rajesh Sharma

–

Flowers don’t chase butterflies,
Kings don’t need followers.
When it’s time, the flower gets blooming,
True resolve will crown the king.
When the flower blooms in morning light,
With petals wide and colors bright,
The butterflies return in flight,
Drawn to the honey, pure and right.
No call was sent, no word was said,
No begging tears, no paths were led.
They left when the green began to fade,
But sweetness brings them back instead.
So when a man begins to rise,
With a sharpened mind and clearer eyes,
The ones who walked and said goodbyes,
Return like winds to open skies.
For growth’s a bloom none can deny,
A silent roar, a fearless cry.
You do not chase. You learn to fly,
Those who left return to ask you why.

Still Chose to Bloom

Poem by Rajesh Sharma

–

Even the most beautiful souls
are shaped by pain, carved deep.
Yet still through cracks the flower grows
roots hold firm where waters weep.
They bend beneath the weight of grief,
but breaking isn’t in their vow.
Storms may strip each tender leaf,
still they find the sun somehow.
Scarred, but never made of stone,
they wear their wounds like silver thread.
From every hurt, a seed was sown
and from that dark, new colors spread.
So call it pain, or call it art:
the heart that bleeds can still impart
a bloom that only broken heart
can raise from ashes to restart.

Kumpulan Puisi Dwibahasa Karya Rajesh Sharma – Penerjemah Leni Marlina: “Kebangkitan Sang Burung Phoenix”

DARI ABU MENJELMA KATA

(Judul Asli: “From the Ashes to the Words”)

Puisi: Rajesh Sharma

Penerjemah (Inggris – Indonesia): Leni Marlina

–

Dunia berkata “diam”, aku belajar mengaum
Dalam tinta, dalam api, untuk selamanya meranum
Tiada mahkota diberikan, tiada pula dipinjamkan
Kubangun namaku di atas apa yang kuartikan
Jika rasa sakit bisa membakar,
biarlah ia membakar
Dari kehilangan aku belajar,
dari abu aku berpendar
Maka bacalah aku saat malammu terasa panjang
Akulah bukti kesunyian melahirkan senandung gemilang
Seekor phoenix tak pernah mengemis langit terang
Ia menulisnya,
lalu belajar untuk terbang

LEMBARAN TEMPAT AKU INGIN SINGGAH

(Judul Asli: “The Page I Wanna Be””)

Puisi: Rajesh Sharma

Penerjemah (Inggris – Indonesia): Leni Marlina

–

Esok aku mungkin memudar menjadi sekadar nama,
Sebuah halaman usang terlipat,

KEBANGKITAN SANG BURUNG PHOENIX

(Judul Asli: “The Phoenix Rising”)

Puisi: Rajesh Sharma

Penerjemah (Inggris – Indonesia): Leni Marlina

–

Setiap bekas luka, sehelai bulu sayap.
Setiap kejatuhan, sebuah percikan api senyap.
Kucari dan kukumpulkan
Dari dalam kegelapan.
Tiada lagi meminta untuk dilihat,
Tiada lagi menanti untuk didapat.
Dari asap kubangun sayapku megah,
Dari rasa sakit kutemukan kata-kataku terarah.
Saksikan aku bangkit dan bersinar
Bukan untuk membuktikan, tapi untuk ditebarkan pendar.
Bukan lagi aku yang lama,
Tapi api yang membebaskan jiwa.
Seekor phoenix tak mengemis angkasa,
Melainkan ia menciptakan langitnya.

MEKAR, BERSINAR, DAN RAIH MAHKOTA

(Judul Asli: Bloom, Shine and Get Crowned)

Puisi: Rajesh Sharma

Penerjemah (Inggris – Indonesia): Leni Marlina

–

Bunga-bunga tak mengejar kupu-kupu,
Para raja tak butuh pengikut tentu.
Saat waktunya tiba, bunga mulai mekar,
Tekad sejati yang menyematkan mahkota berbinar.
Saat bunga mekar dalam cahaya pagi,
Dengan kelopak lebar dan warna berseri,
Kupu-kupu kembali dalam penerbangan kemari,
Tertarik pada madu, murni dan sejati.
Tiada panggilan dikirim, tiada kata terucap,
Tiada ratapan iba, tiada jalan tersingkap.
Mereka pergi saat warna hijau mulai pudar,
Namun kemanisan membawa mereka pulang berbinar.
Raungan sunyi, jeritan keberanian tanpa ketakutan.
Kau tidak mengejar.
Kau belajar terbang,
Mereka yang pergi kembali bertanya dengan bimbang.

SENANTIASA MEMILIH UNTUK BERSEMI

(Judul Asli: “Still Chose to Bloom”)

Puisi: Rajesh Sharma

Penerjemah (Inggris – Indonesia): Leni Marlina

–

Bahkan jiwa-jiwa paling indah di dunia
Dibentuk oleh rasa sakit, dipahat dalam duka.
Namun lewat retakan bunga tetap tumbuh mekar
Akar kokoh berdiri di tempat air mata berpendar.
Mereka membungkuk di bawah beban kesedihan,
Namun menyerah bukanlah bagian dari sumpah ikatan.
Badai boleh merenggut setiap daun rapuh,
Namun mereka tetap menemukan matahari utuh.
Penuh bekas luka, namun tak terbuat dari batu,
Mereka mengenakan luka bak benang perak bermutu.
